I'd like to see them paint the black pieces. Otherwise it looks like when a kid sticks a body kit to his aging accord and leaves it white.
Just doesn't look finished.
That makes more sense. I thought it was on some kind of flatbed with the flatbed sticking out.
They need to do a better job making it look like a whole unit.
Overall good to have competion as that keeps prices under control and moves things forward but.... - silversandExplorer....looks interesting.
The roof is one-piece aluminum "seamless" (sounds like the Livin-Lite roof); the heating system sounds interesting (a heat exchanger, too; the heating system will keep camper heated when you are driving).
Not enough additional info to make a detailed analysis (ie. no dimensions inside or out, etc)....will follow this one closely!

I can't criticize the E/W bed or the folding bathroom or the size in general since this is clearly an attempt to produce a small hardside truck camper, and everyone else is producing larger and larger hardside campers. If you want more space there are plenty of products on the market, but if you want something compact (this is for shortbed and is about 7ft wide) your choice is currently limited.
Exactly what I'd agree to.
It's just like their trailers (T@B, Little Guy).... they are building stuff to appeal to a different market. Bigger is better for some people, but smaller is better for some people as well. - 67avionExplorer II

What I do see really scares me that my choices in the future may be limited to old antique units to get the things I like.
Don't be afraid. Its OK to have "old antique units". - BumpyroadExplorerI would hope that it is possible to delete that front window as those are problematic. also, a better choice for dinette upholstery than bile green. the drop down bunk is an improvement, but only if you really plan on using it. the similar one in a Lance allows careful seating at the dinette with it down. the sink is similar to one used in the Winnebago a number of years back. It looks like there was no drain so I would guess it drains back into the wall space like the winnie did???
bumpy - sabconsultingExplorerThanks to Deltabravo for posting the additional video link.

I'd prefer a lighter interior, though maybe they would offer a range of color schemes - genuine European campers tend to have a lighter airier feel to their interiors than this "European style".

Having said all that the weight is disappointing. If you are compromising on size and space as mentioned above you want the trade off to be very light weight. I'd like to see someone produce a hardside of that size that is well under 2000 lbs wet weight - something you could put on your average 1500 / F150 (and not have to trawl through the specifications finding the exact one that is capable of carrying it and your family). I think that is where the real breakthroughs will come, not in styling. But that will probably require much more difficult choices and more complicated design to achieve a lower weight.
Maybe the compromise here is that they have produced something that is compact, but are trying to spec it out to a higher end of the market. You can see where some of that weight comes in when you look at the folding bunk and fold-out TV.
Of course, this is a demonstrator for the show, so I guess it has to be fitted with every option available.
But on balance I am pleased to see someone new making an effort in the truck camper market, and hopefully they will eventually bring the experience gained from small teardrop trailers to create some more adventurous light-weight truck camper designs suitable for lighter trucks.
