After a week's hunting trip I'm back home and thinking of getting a small lightweight truck camper for next year's trip. I've done some searches re: megacabs and truck campers, I already know it's not...

Understand your want for a low profile camper and if you get a super lightweight one like you're looking for you won't have to do any suspension mods probably, but don't underestimate what your truck is capable of. You can put a good size camper on it.
