It can be done, but they're so heavy you need the suspension out of an F550 to keep the front bumper from dragging.
There was an OBS F-SuperDuty at a truck show a few years back with a DT466 stuffed in it. Can't find the pictures. It was definitely a crowbar job. I think they had to put in a body lift so they could mount the engine high enough that the oil pan didn't drag on the ground. It was 2WD, solid front axle, and LOTS of extra leaves in the springs.
