I would have bought the smaller Palomino (without the wet bath but the wife wanted a commode and shower.
Don't know if the Northstar come standard with an outside shower but in my view it's a necessity, especially when in the woods to clean up before entering the camper. We use ours all the time and if you aren't modest you can take a shower outside too...
With the bumper on the 950, you'll need a hitch extension to clear it. I don't have a bumper on my unit so I can actually hook up my trailer to the drop hitch (and everything clears my Glo Steps too. A little close but no problem.
