New radio recommendation

The radio that came in this new trailer is a joke, only composite out and analog input. Love how it says it's the state of the art radio. Any suggestions on a radio with Hdmi and digital inputs. Not overly expensive. Michael
  • One of the few advantages of old age hearing loss is there is little difference between cheap and expensive sound systems. They both sound just a tad better than a cell phone.:)

When the DW and I bought a flat screen TV, the young salesman said “You will probably want a sound bar with that.” Taking a second look he chirped “Maybe not”; I smiled in agreement. :B
  • Since TV watching (even DVD watching) is a very secondary consideration in our TT, I just run a basic 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack on the TV back up into the Aux In jack on the Jensen.

That cable also gets used when hooking up our Gen 1 Microsoft Zune.

It will be easier for me to get time/budget approval from DW to improve my outdoor cooking tools. So that's my priority this season.

I'm getting older and it works differently for me. I can definitely tell the difference between a nice system and a bad one. As some one said the bad ones can hurt my ears. But, I'm old and I just don't care that much anymore. If I'm out camping I don't need a really good system. A nice one, better then the factory one would be good though.

The factory radio in my 02 Chevy pickup sucks. Sounds bad, and is hard to use. Just to use it requires you to take you eyes off the road. No wonder people get in accidents.
