^ Hope you're right, but that's a big 1 year gain. I'd imagine they'll play the game of bumping just enough to beat the current advertised torque leader, maybe set it right at 1000ft lbs and save more of the "bragging rights" for future years.
Trans I believe to be well more than a rumor at this point...8speed ZF Powerline.
Makes 100% sense and it should come out this year in advance of the purported 10speed from GM.
Either way, makes no difference at this point who's truck you buy if you want insane stock diesel power. They all blow the doors off of 10 years ago.
