No one is interested in winning the low price race, at least no manufacturer. As for MPG, that would be great but you wont see any significant increases coming, the more power you make the more you have to feed it. There might be some efficiencies found somewhere but there isn't going to be anything to make much of a difference. If it makes 1000 foot pounds and anything over 425 hp you will likely see the kind of mpg we already see at 910 ft/pounds.
