Based on my last two 6.7's they have laid down around 87% of advertised HP to the ground on a DYNO. So the new CUMMINS should hit 350 to the ground right out of the box.
Dyno's don't give true numbers because the charge air cooler isn't doing anything sitting still.
Are you saying they produce more or less? They do have large fans blowing air into the front of the truck while doing the tests.
They produce more power going down the road. It's ahrd for any fan setup to produce enough air.
I can tell you it was a mistake for me to let my truck warm up fully as my first run was 15 hp or so less than the others with same engine and my second run was worse.
Bottom line RAM lays down a higher advertised HP than it's competitors. Have seen this many times.
