I don't think its going to cause people to "rethink" their position, rather they aren't going to have much of a choice.
Although it seems that since the redesign the CP4.2 has been much more reliable. Hopefully that means that its turned a corner and is a better quality pump.
It will receive plenty of testing by consumers before I am next in the market to buy a truck, so we shall see what is down the road in another 7 or 8 years.
