One of the things about the CP4-2 is/was the fuel supplied to it. In North America the fuel does not meet the Bosch requirement. On top of that Ford did not do a good job on detecting water in the fuel.
The CP4-2 seems to be pretty much trouble free in this generation of super duties, haven’t read about fairlures yet on all the forums I visit. Must of improved the filtration system too, I know the filter setup is much different on my current truck compared to my previous 13.
