I'm not seeing anything here that makes me think GM will win any contests. they still can't tow 24,000 pounds always be a day late and dollar short
They has won far more than they have lost and I cant recall a third place finish, could be be one but I dont remember it. That could change with this Cummins, but at this point there isn't a basis for the claim. The claimed specs have seldom told the whole story. So we will wait until they run the hill and see what happens. If the Dmax takes third I would agree they should go back to the drawing board. There is a first time for everything.
