But that is a good lesson. Your vehicle may not be as secure as you thought with the keyless start.
As I know these systems the vehicle will continue to run but as soon as stopped it will not start again. Someone could drive till they empty the tank, NTM I think thieves are well aware how these systems work to take advantage of them.
