Until you find a way to disable this feature you should be able to avoid the issue by storing your keys in a metal container in the camper. An Altoid tin may work for the fob or maybe an old cracker tin for all the keys. The metal can should act as a Faraday cage preventing the vehicle's communication with the key fob.
You could also wrap the keys in aluminum foil for the same effect.
My Toyota has a button at the base of the steering column that you can push in to disable the key-less entry.
