I think I have decided on the B&W RVK3270 manual slider and the Reese picture frame. I will rig the V-Box attached to slider with Nylon slides on the bottom of the box so it will slide out onto the tail gate. And then hope I can cobble the large Truck Trunk in ahead of the hitch. Chris

I will make you a great deal on the Ram picture frame, all 75 lbs of it . - Me_AgainExplorer IIII think I have decided on the B&W RVK3270 manual slider and the Reese picture frame. Why do you want to replace the camera for?
So I can remove the tailgate and run just with the V-Box out back like the picture of our 2001.5. Ease of hooking up and unhooking.
Chris
Oh, I understand now. What about this?
Fifth Wheel Gate
Why would want or need a gate, the V-Box does that plus holds our golf clubs. Chris - garyp4951Explorer III

Russ, I have really been struggling with this decision.
I am going to see if I can modify the box to fit.
Cut out the bottom back corner and replace it inside out, to clear wheel wells and the RVk3600 B&W hitch legs.
Side view.
I wonder if anyone has worked out a replace video camera to replace the Park View one tailgate? Chris
I started to do that, but sold my deep box , and bought a shallow one. I set my B&W 5" behind the pin insert in the bed, and works fine with my short bed. - transamz9Explorer

Fifth Wheel Gate - cummins2014ExplorerIts unfortunate that you are so against the Andersen Ultimate hitch, it could possibly solve much of your truck dilemma . It has the positions to eliminate the need for a slider.
I will let you know how much or how little I like the Andersen when I get rid of my dinosaur hitch ,and picture frame adapter . The Reese picture frame is heavier then the Andersen hitch - NC_HaulerExplorergood luck to you Chris in your search for your new truck....

Where will you travel to pick up the new truck Chris?
Where ever we have to go once the boat sale closes and we have the cash in hand. We made it through labor day with ones we are tracking still available. The one pictured above has rear air and they will not meet the price of another one plus the $1595 for the rear air.
Granite Crystal is our second color choice. We would take the light colored interior in the Deep Cherry Red, but not the Granite Crystal. There are a couple Granite Crystal ones available that way, and it just looks wrong. Gray truck with brown and beige interior???? Someone hit the wrong button???
Chris - Me_AgainExplorer IIINew truck should look similar to this one. Chris
