Congratulations! I heard that Hijacker was sold out of Victoria but I've also heard that they still make a good product. I think you're pretty hard pressed to go wrong with the B&W product as well.
So, did you go with SLT, Laramie, or what? You also didn't state whether or not you went with the Aisin, 4x4, and what color!! Come on, we're wondering!
2015 3500 SRW SB Laramie 4x4 with Buckets/full console, Aisin, Keyless entry N-go/remote start, 8.4 NAV, Steps, Bed liner, 220 amp alt, Block heater, Skid plate, 18" AT tires(I like the 18" Laramie wheels best) - Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl with Black Interior. Bank today, flight Sunday, and start the 1338 mile trip home Monday with it. Last Red one in the nation with most options and interior color we wanted. Plus a blowout price. Will add the 4 factory pucks in the bed.
Aisin's are going to be hard to find in 2016 SRW trucks.
Chris
Just so everyone knows Chris has been talking about buying a new RAM 3500 SRW for a "LONG TIME" !!!!!!
This decision deserves a moment of silence!
Congrats Chris, I was not sure this moment would very happen.
................ok, silence was observed:B
Chris, you'll love the color, the 2012 Laramie I had was Cherry red Pearlcoat with champagne color bottom, (two tone)..
Enjoy buddy... - rhagfoExplorer III

Local dealer told me they were on constraint on SRW trucks for 2016. Chris - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Chris - HannibalExplorerI installed a second set of bed rails in my CCSB F250 to put the pin 52" from the rear window. That's 12" behind the axle. With our 1700 lb pin weight, I can't tell the difference towing. Doing the math, it took about 120 lbs off the front and added it to the rear. No big deal. Not recommending this as it goes against the manufacturer's recommendation but for us, it works. Many welders do this to make room for their welding rigs in the front of the bed.

We choose the 3500 SB truck and will install a B&W RVK3270 18K Manual Slider on a Hijacker American made picture frame #6099. Hijacker 5th wheel hitches may be American made also, now that they are no long produced in Victoria, BC. Have to make the Taco truck Americanized at least a little bit.
Ratings are:
Tow 17,050
GVWR 11,700
GCWR 25,300
RGAWR 7,000
