I have always been a loyal GMC driver.
The new Ram is a very nice truck. I strongly considered a Mega Cab for the interior space. The ability to break down option packages was another positive for the Ram. They were the only HD truck that offered heated seats and steering wheel in an SLT trim package without all the other bells and whistles (DW mandated heated seats). The problem was dealer inventory in our area is slim unless you want a tradesman model. The better equipped trucks were held for a premium price.
Ultimately I ended up with a Silverado as the Chevy dealer was the only one that was willing to sell for a price I was willing to pay.
