I can tell you from personal experience that if I were you I would return your hitch and get the B&W hitch, no comparison to anything else.

I need the slider, my old 5er has a square front and wouldn't come close to clearing my cab on my SB Ford without the slider. Once I get my shoulder settled out, I'll get it mocked up and find out I have to do.
