I guess going forward we can advise others (because it is what allegedly Keystone themselves communicated) Keystone has design issues. Or, designs issues.
Are we to believe all Keystone units of this specific model have toilet seats that cannot maintain an upright position ? More likely this issue is subject to who was running the drill on a given day. This is an example of poor quality control, as well as poor customer service. Most importantly a industry culture of its ok cus we will get away with it.
Why should we expect anything better ? Reading posts on how this is the customers fault is and example of us getting exactly the performance from our trailers, dealers, and their manufacturers we deserve. The RV industry counts on us avoiding the little effort it takes to hold them accountable.
After reading the above in
bold I have a tendency to agree. This very well could be a workmanship issue. To add to possible errors, perhaps the wall is mislocated if it's up against an interior wall. Therefore Keystone should be on the hook to rectify it if it is.
This puts the burden on the OP to inspect as many of the same model units as available to determine if any exhibit the same issue. If they do not then it should be repaired.
