New superduty - 18" or 20" wheels
I'm looking at ordering a crew cab shortened gas f350 with 4.30 axle to tow a Montana fifthwheel (11,700#dry). What are the advantages or disadvantages of the 18" wheels versus 20" wheels.

A larger diameter tire will have the same effect as a higher gear ratio. You choose what is the most important; pulling power or looks.
No diff between OE 18s and 20s other than looks and cost of tires.
