New superduty - 18" or 20" wheels

I'm looking at ordering a crew cab shortened gas f350 with 4.30 axle to tow a Montana fifthwheel (11,700#dry). What are the advantages or disadvantages of the 18" wheels versus 20" wheels.

X2... But I really like the looks of the 20".
  • Check the payload and towing of each. The truck with the 18 inch may have a higher payload capacity.

  • I bought a truck with 20 inch low profile rims once. It was a flashy grocery get-er. Low profile passenger car tires were the only thing I could find to fit the rims and still fit in the wheel wells... I was bummed that I couldn't get a decent set of on/off-road m+s tires for it.

just something to check into if off-road, mud or snow are in your truck's future.
