New Tire Question
It's time to purchase new tires for my 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500. The truck came with Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires and they have served me well. I pull a 26'Heartland Trail Runner with a GVWR of 7600lbs....

I have run the Cooper Discoverer AT3 and I'm currently running the Michelin Defender LTX MS. Both were/are of the E rated variety. I have no complaints about the Coopers, they timed out before the tread was worn too far. I replaced them with the Michelin's about 4K miles ago and the biggest difference has been a noticeably smoother ride and less road noise with the Michelin's. Some of that can be expected since the Michelin's have a less aggressive tread, however it's quite a bit better. The Coopers were average in the snow and ice here, but after the wint'ry mix we got here earlier today, the Michelin's will get there chance soon enough.
