Would the new Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 in 275/65r20 be acceptable for mild off-roading - dirt roads with gravel and mud along with soft grassy areas? I keep ready good things about their tread life and how solid they are on the road. I'm a little gun shy as I know I'll be stuck with them for at least 3 summers. I would consider the Michelin AT2 but that's what my truck came with and they were terrible, although I know it was an OE tire.
