I see you're in the apple at chun mtns. Rear tires rarely wear funny on the outside edge or any edge unless it's the road conditions, IMO.
Living in the rock ee mtns, every vehicle we had chewed through the outsides of tire treads much quicker than anywhere non mountainous. I attributed it to a great deal of curvy, twisty roads, many at highway speeds. Possible this going on with yours?
