Btw, it took about an hour to install the 1st Torklift Stable Load and 10 min to do the other side. And 9 months to find somebody, thanks to exhaustipated on this forum, who found me a truck service firm 5 miles from home. $92. I sure wish I would have had them last summer when Bedlam offered to do it free at the rally in MN.
In regards to a "battery separator located underneath the hood ".....are you sure that you have one? To my knowledge GM does not install one even with their camper/towing packages, unless you have had one installed.
Best to check and never assume anything. Bedlam's method is the fail-safe method of protecting your truck batteries.
