New Tires For Tow Vehicle...

I've got a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7 3.73 and pulling a 26' camper that's around 7,700 - 8,000 lbs. I still have the original tires on it with less than 19,000 miles on them.

I'm interested in replacing the TV tires and am looking for suggestions.

  • I recommend top line Goodyear.

And you did not really expand much on expected usage or value.
Also it is OK to post the OEM size and brand that you are not happy with.

Do you have towing issues you are trying to resolve with new tires?

  • For towing duty, get some load range D or E tires preferably.
Will make for a better towing experience.
Brand and tread is subjective. Pick your favorite tread pattern that's within what you want to spend.
  • Craigslist and Amazon is where I tire shop.
Can find new used OE takeoff tires on CL typically very cheap and Amazon has great prices as well, delivered to your door.
