New tires help

Hello everyone. First off let me just start for taking the time to say thank you. Every time I have a question I receive replies. Ok the family and I are making a trip to Yellowstone this summer from Ohio. My tow vehicle is a 2016 silveraldo gasser 2500, equilizer hitch and 2015 jayco 26bh (5000 lbs dry ) with original factory tires. They have already gotten me to maine , myrtle beach and too many shorter trips to count. Needless to say im probably lucky I haven't had a problem yet. I have done alot of reading but am still pretty confused on which ones to buy. I often hit 65 mph when there is little wind and no traffic so i think the st tires are out. Im not worried about saving a hundred or two I want good safe tires for myself and my family. I would love to hear what you would buy in my place. Thanks
  • Tires are three years old? What makes you think they need changing? Are they showing wear?
  • I stay away from the Made in China ST bombs. I would look at something like a Michelin Defender LTX tire in a 15" which I believe your trailer takes. Basically it's a truck tire.
  • For that trailer I'd go with Goodyear Endurance tires....speed rating for these is 85+. U.S. made. Lots of good reviews.
