Properly setup, I'm sure it could tow up to it's max weight wise, but I don't think I'd want to go much longer than 21'.
Thanks. Sorry to pepper you with questions, but you have the same 4Runner as I do so I can't help but ask someone who's been-there-done-that.
Would you (if single) live full-time in the 21-foot trailer you have, if your intentions were to be flexible with where you live and work and knowing that you would probably buy or rent a house once you found a place that you'd like to settle down for the forseeable future but until then you want to be flexible?
That's of course a subjective question, but just hearing why that would or would not be do-able with your 21-foot trailer from a subjective point of view would be valuable.
Would I live in a 21 foot trailer? Absolutely. If I were to do it fulltime, I'd probably shy away from the hybrid and go for a regular ultralite travel trailer. You could for sure do it in a hybrid, but I think for comfort's sake and ease of setup, I'd go for the regular TT. In my opinion, that's a really manageable size for one person and manageable for your T4R. You have to be in the mindset that you aren't spending 100% of your time inside the TT...it's there to just be your base. If you're out on the road, you have a lot to see and explore and that's where your focus should be. You'll definitely be able to make it work!
