New to Trailers --- Height Question

Hello, I am new to travel trailers but have a camper and tow a boat so not completely new. My question is what is the average height of a travel trailer with AC? Do they design them to fit under 10' garage doors? I know 12' would be ideal but looking for those who are getting under 10' doors. Thanks

    My apex is 8'6" without the A/C. With the A/C, its shy of 10'. Some sites have it listed as 9'8" which seems right with the a/c.

    They are out there, but you are going to have to look long and hard. Our old trailer was a Jayco JayFeather, which seemed really low, but it measured 10'6" to the top of the AC unit. Our current trailer is about 12'.

    Most are 11 to 11.5 but there are lower ones. You ahve to google around to mfgs and see. I have an Arctic Fox and its 11.5.
