New to travel trailer

Hey everyone myself and my family are new to a 2015 starcraft ar one max 26bh..Im going to be pulling this with a 2014 f150 crew cab ecoboost..dont think im gonna have any issues..had a prodigy p2 put in and have purchased a e2 800lb hitch and 8000lb rating..I puchased a 50' water hose, rhino sewer hose kit, water regulater, brass elbow for hookup to camper, 30 amp extension cord, and a valterra reverse flush cleanout..just looking on some good advice on what else to get that we will need.

    Problem is Ford uses fuzzy math to get those numbers.

    SAE horsepower Ford V10 362 @ 4750 rpm

    SAE horsepower Ford 3.5L eco boost 253 @ 4250 rpm
    SAE horsepower Ford 3.5L eco boost 282 @ 6250 rpm

    The true sae hp #s don't match the V10

    I hear lots of good things about the Champ 3100, been considering one myself. Your truck should work great. It would have been nice to have the Max tow, with 500 extra payload, towing mirrors, and the really nice IBC. The prodigy is a good unit.

    And it has 420 ft.lbs of torque at 2500 RPM compared to 457 for the V10 at 3500 RPM.

    A portable 2000 watt generator and 2nd battery if you don't already have that; if you plan to dry camp much.

    I seen multiple f150 with ecoboost towing 5th wheelers last year..it has more torque and hp then any of the v-8 and f250 gassers..i tow a 26' boat with it and cant even tell its back there

I never see follow up posts about great handling and power up steep grades, handling in cross winds i.e. glad they purchased the combination after owning for 6 months to a year. Those posts would be helpful to RVers shopping for tow vehicles.

    And you are good weight wise as long as you don't go crazy with stuff.
