Have to agree with eluwak. We tried a V-6 Rav 4 paired with a Coachmen Clipper 17' and while it pulled well and stopped well when the wind blew we didn't feel safe. Ended up with a truck and much bigger camper. I think even though there was plenty of power the short wheel base was the problem.
