Siv,
YW!!!
The outdoor shower is very convenient when needed. Being able to rinse dirt and mud off the kids before entering the trailer helps keep the tt cleaner. Also, if you do like we do and cook 99.9% of the time outside, having hot and cold water without entering the tt is nice. It makes it very easy to fill the water pan of my Weber WSM smoker up when I take it on trips.
The E4 (Equal-I-Zer 4 way system) is a great choice! Reese also has a version, the SC that works as well. One slight advantage with the Reese is the hitch head offers a little more fine tuning for the head tilt, which is for the wd bar adjustment. Another Reese advantage is you can buy different rated wd bars if you buy a new trailer and need different ones. The E4 requires a whole new system to be purchased if different rated wd bars are required. You won't go wrong with either system!!!
If needed, follow my signature links for a ton of wdh info. Chances are you will need to readjust the system once you load the trailer for a trip. Most dealers are lucky if they get the wdh string correct for the empty trailer.
Great to hear you did some research before buying a tt. It seems most find us after buying the tt, and wonder why the tv isn't up to the task since it is "rated to tow a lbs" and the salesman said no problem!!!"
Understand having a budget. Don't rule out a slightly used tt if you can find a great price. Just find out what you can buy the same brand new for when shopping. A lot of times it seems people do not negotiate the best price, finance for as long as possible, and add every add on (ext warranty, plus what ever else) into the financing. So when they decide to sell 2-3yrs later, they still owe as much as a new one can be bought for.
Not sure I agree on the dealer prep fee. Try to negotiate that into the tt price. Not sure where Saint Johns is (we have one near us, but it's St. Johns), but if there is a delivery fee as well try to talk that down as well.
Good luck!!!!
