First mistake, buying your first RV new. I guess you have a lot of money to throw away? Most people go about 5-7 years old as a first RV. Simple reason, depreciation! Probably 95% of all first time buyers trade or sell out and quit within the first two years. Buying used has nothing but positives for a first timer. Less loss come trade/sell time, easier to move out of, a great way to figure out exactly what you like and dislike.
As for your Tundra While it is a nice vehicle, and quite capable within it's specs your ideas of size are IMHO unrealistic. Heck I used to tow a 30 foot TT with a E350 Ford Van and it was all I wanted. Your just setting yourself up for a giant failure. Start looking around 25 foot and you will be much happier.
It's not the length. it's the weight.
