Wash your dishes in a dishpan and then use that water to flush the toilet. An added benefit can be not having to turn on the pump (when you don't have water hook-up) during the night to flush the toilet.
When we dry camp, we also capture the first water out of the shower into a small tub so we don't waste water while trying to get the right temperature. Be sure your shower shut-off is working well to avoid using too much fresh water while showering.
As others have mentioned, the grey will likely fill first. We used to use cat litter jugs if we needed to get one or more two showers in before having to dump. They hold about 2.5 gallons and have screw on lids. We don't dry camp enough to purchase a blue boy especially since I don't know where we would store it.
