Congrats on your purchase. I have found that most older TT of your age have had the gas electric fridge removed and replaced with a household unit. That would not work for me because I like to dry camp but, for some people that always go to a place where you have electricity I would not stay away from a good reasonably priced older unit that is in perfect shape except for that one item. To each his own. Like you said finding one with a good roof and no rot is the most important thing. Glad you found such a good deal. I could never get that lucky. But, my 20 year old TT is in good shape!
