The reason why we have to get an offsite URL (like from Photobucket) is for one simple reason, bandwidth and storage. If RV.net (or GoodSam or whoever) had to permanently store all the images we posted, it would;
1) Be expensive
2) Be very expensive
The reason why you see so many "missing photos" is because URL's sometime change with the photo hosts URL's. Not the fault of RV.net at all.
If you'd like, I'll be happy to help walk you through the process of photo posting on RV.net. Just PM me.
