New Tow vehicle needed

Was looking for some suggestions for new tow vehicle. We currently have 28 ft RV with dry weight of 5200 lbs. Am looking for pickup of some type. Do you suggest a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton vehicle. We have trailer seasonal parked, but do still take about 4 trips per year. Who likes Fords and who likes Chevy?

    I looked up weights. GVWR is 7500 lbs. Hitch weight is 705 lbs

    Since dry is really a useless number what is the GVWR? If your GVWR is around 7500 pounds, then if you can aford ot a Ford ecoboost is probably a good choice. But for the same money you could buy a 2500 gas motor. Go drive all of them. Ram seems to have the nicest interiors, and often much better prices. Fords will cost you the most, GMs offerings will fall somewhere in between.
