New Tow vehicle questions
Got a 2011 2500HD Silverado Crew Cab with Duramax and Allison. Did a couple of short tows, hour to hour and a half. Have a 28' TT about 7000lbs. Pulls great so far all smiles.:)) couple questions. ...

I always use tow/haul on mine even on the flats. It raises the shift points of the transmission and keeps my engine in its peak range when needed. The downside for me is lower MPG. Of course you are going to get differing opinions. My truck sadly does not have an exhaust brake so I cannot answer there.
