If you got the genuine Equal-i-zer brand, just download the instructions and check everything. You'll need to take some before and after measurements to see if you're transferring the proper amount of weight to the front axle. After that if the bars are level and the trailer is level, or slightly nose-down, you're good to go.
Normally when you change trucks, you need to re-adjust. It would be rare that everything is spot on since truck heights, receiver heights, rear suspension, etc, are all different.
