New tow vehicle

Well I guess I will have to change my user name lol. I bought a new 2016 Ram 3500 DRW CC LB 4x4 with the 6.4 hemi. I have had 3 diesels in a row and no longer can justify the extra cost up front and after the warranty the high repair bills. I love this truck!!! I now have about 400 miles on it and like it more every time I drive it. Its the first dodge I have had since 1988.I will tow with it the first time new years to go to Ocean Lakes CG. My TT only weighs around 8000lbs so I believe I will be fine. My previous truck was a standard cab LB 2 wheel drive so I feel like I am a foot higher when in the seat.

    No, I turned down a free one that my Mom and Dad offered me. I can fix anything on my TT or my previous 5er but A's are in another more expensive class lol. just to much for me.:)

    Congrats. But are you planning on a new TT or 5'er soon? Because I'll say what no one else does - seems like a lot of truck for that size.

    If you had chosen better in the past with diesels you would have only had 1 :B

    I also tow my tractor. It and the trailer are around12k. The other thing is I got it for less$ than lots of the 1/2 tons. Can't have to much truck.

    I priced all three Ford, Chevy, Dodge all similar equipment. The Dodge was about 7k less than the other 2.

    I had four. I still went back to a Ford gasser. :W

    Congrats on the new truck Will. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it for years to come. :B
