Should have about 1400-1500 lbs of payload..more than enough... 300 HP V6 will do the job nicely. My Town & Country's V6 handles near that weight with no problems.
Great choice in a TV...
I don't think that most people realize that a Colorado is bigger than half ton full sized trucks of not long ago.
Took my family of four for a test drive in a 4 door Colorado. (My boys are adult size) and everyone was comfy cozy... Can't say that for the tiny Tacoma interior.
