Hey All...
First of all, thanks for all the feedback so far...
So, I have an update I'd like to run by you all. My camper made it back to Indiana. The driver that picked my unit up was very professional and I felt comfortable with him towing it, so that made me feel OK which was one of things I was concerned about, would have been nice to have more notification of when they were coing... Now who knows who I will get for the return trip... :)
CS has been in frequent contact with me, almost emailing me back immediatally after emails are sent, etc. Here's my 'new' concern. I'm being told for them to fix my floor correctly - they are lifting the 'box' (walls and roof together) off the frame/floor - with cabinets, entertainment center, walls, etc still attached. I'm told I'm getting a whole new floor, decking, lino, rug I assume. I'm also told I'm getting the underbelly rewrapped and closed, new insulation, etc.
I'm concerned with a few things here.
1. I'm told the walls are held onto the floor with wood screws - I'm concerned this isn't going to be 'factory new' as they will essentially be using all the same holes, etc as when the unit was build.
2. I'm concerned with the stress and flex this is going to put on the 'box' when being lifted off, especially with everything attached to the walls. I'm pretty sure they won't build the shell of the camper and then place it on the floor, pretty sure they start with the floor and work from inside out, perhaps I'm wrong.
3. All my connections, plumbing, elecrtical, gas will be disconnected, re-done, etc.
Before I go into any of my other concerns, would these things concern you?
Please let me know your thoughts...
Thanks...
