Thanks MarkieMark and Hondavalk - that's my setiment exactly... If I post all kinds of information right now and then low and behold I'm completely satisfied at the end of this, it could potentially have ill effects on the manufacturer while this post is left hanging out there for a few weeks while these repairs are being made. Just to mention again, I have talked to a few other owners who have not had a single issue - so again, my issue could be very low %... I would also feel completely different about this as well if I wasn't getting any response from my dealer and the manufacturer. Last but not least, we did tons of research before buying this RV and choose this one from the quality we seen in the contrustion and such, I couldn't even tell you how many campers we looked at before choosing this one...
Thanks again for all the input... BTW - This is a "guy" writting this post... :)

I think it is completely valid to mention the manufacturer and dealer. If you get a satisfactory solution, then this thread becomes a strong recommendation. Not mentioning it feels a bit dishonest to me.
My new Kodiak suffered some serious water problems. Four PEX joints failed in the first two weeks. So much water filled the rubber belly cover that the dealer had to cut it to get it out so they could tow it to their dealership. Sounds horrible, right? It was no fun for me, but both the dealer and Dutchmen went out of their way to make things right. The dealer was authorized to completely replumb all supply lines and sent a new belly cover. The plumbing was fixed in time for my second trip (had to cancel the first). A few more problems cropped up, but nothing very serious. The dealer is spending the next week fixing my issues and replacing the belly cover.
Should Dutchmen found the troubles before shipping? Of course! But once the problems came out, they made sure I was happy. We have taken five trips and loved every minute.
My point is that you may have some serious problems. Apparently this is unfortunately typical in the RV business. However, like us, you seem to have excellent service from both your dealer and the manufacturer. I would consider that a recommendation for that company.
On another note, it is very rare that a manufacturer will "trade" your unit for a new one. It might actually cost less to make the trade than to rebuild your TT. However, once a VIN is issued and you register the TT, it becomes quite ugly for the maker and dealer.
Anyway, as long as we have the ability to alert each other about issues and solutions, we have a pretty powerful voice. After all, a TT is something we don't *have* to buy.
Just my 2cents
