New travel trailer expectations

My water tanks is ALWAYS full whenever I begin a trip. Tanks had better be designed to be safe when driven full. And that's a very serious safety issue, for the innocent people behind, and it's APPALLING that this has happened. I'd be absolutely FURIOUS if this happened to my brand-new trailer and you bet I'd be talking about lawyers and lawsuits. Maybe not the sensible approach but that's just how angry I would be.

I do have a look underneath about once a year or so. No obvious problems on my 9-year old Fleetwood Prowler. But that reminds me - I should have another look to be safe.

One of the things wrong with this country is there are too many people that can't wait to sue. The water tank dropped down and dragged along the road. No mention of anyone being hurt or killed. What would you sue for?? A real lawyer probably wouldn't even take the case...I myself, don't look at this as a major life threatening event.
