New trailer water tank dropping on the road:(
IMHO, If I buy a new product, I think I have a reasonable right to assume that a major issue like the water tank falling out should not occur. Both the people who sold the trailer and the people who manfactured the trailer are responsible to correct the situation by 1. giving me my $$$ back, 2. fixing all the problems at no cost to me 3. giving me a brand new trailer.
If we go to a doctor for a medical procedure and it can be shown that the procedure was not done correctly and 2 weeks later resulted in major medical problems for me, I don't think most people would just dismiss the issue as "well thats just business, the world is not perfect" etc etc. I think the same reasonable assumtion or logic applies under similar situations for a Lawyer, contractor, denist, optometrist.
I agree that every new RV trailer has some MINOR fix it issues but I consider the water tank falling down on the highway while I am driving a Major Mfg. issue. I also think that it is also the responsibility of the dealer to have been more through in checking out the trailer before turning it over to the owner. Just my 2 cents:):)
