NewBalance started out as an Orthopedic shoe company many years ago. I have been buying US Made NewBalance shoes since around 1980. BUT the FACT is less than 50 percent of NB shoes are Made in USA, some are "Assembled" some are "Made" and some are just plain ol made in China or Vietnam or ??????

You are correct but they produce more USA made athletic shoes than any other manufacturer. Four million pairs a year are produced here.
I like fruit cups and was reading a label on them and found that the national brand we buy are from CHINA and some are from China and Vietnam. What the hell is this? How much more could it possibly cost to produce here rather than ship from half way around the world? I now buy the canned fruit that say they are made in the USA. I was picking up some orange juice today. I only buy Florida Natural because it is never reconstituted and 100% from Florida. Looked at some others and they are previously frozen, reconstituted or contain juice from Brazil or Honduras. Florida Natural was cheaper than juice from other countries!!!!.
I have worn Levi's for nearly 60 years and would not buy any other jean UNTIL I found Texas Jeans. 100% Made in USA. I bought a pair for $24.99 and they are every bit as comfortable and as well made as Levi's. Orders over %100. ship free. Check 'em out.
