Congrats on the new truck. Use Rotella T-6 in mine. Don't forget to update your signature, and remember, post pics or it didn't happen.

My 2015 6.7 goes back to the dealer for oil changes. I use the synthetic Motorcraft oil. The price isn't too bad and its just easier to have them do it.

I would make sure the spec on the oil meets what is in the operator's manual.

As for me, i have my gasser changed at the stealer where I bought it. The oil comes out of a bulk tank and the truck runs fine.

Apples and oranges on the of motor and the cost of the change, but still relevant to the OP. Mine is $21.95 at Bob Ridings in Taylorville IL.

If the PSD is a '16 or older, use Rotella T6 5w-40 full synthetic. If it's a'17, the Rotella T5 Ultra.

Mobil 1 Delvac 5w40 after you get 15K mi. I've used M1 for 178K mi.

I bought a new RAM 5500 last year. Since it is under warranty I take it back to the dealership I purchased it from. Only thing I requested at dealership was to use a synthetic. Unless you change your own oil you might not have too many options at dealership.

Rotella T6 and Motorcraft oil filters.... I have 108k miles running this oil/filter, but really any CJ4 oil will work.
