I've seen it mentioned more than once in these forums, and it lines up pretty well with my experience, that the A/C units in RVs generally are capable of cooling 15-20 degrees below ambient, if that. So if it's knocking on a hundred degrees out, and your current unit is keeping the inside temps down to 80F... that's fairly typical. Sure as heck not my 'ideal', but it seems pretty standard.
