Those plastic storage drawers can be quite handy. Be sure to measure the cupboards first, though, to make sure they will fit!

My former 14RB had a vertical closet, does yours have one too? You could build shelves and maybe even drawers into it. My hanger piece came down during travel; it was stapled in place and didn't survive the weight of my jackets and jeans.

No - no hanging closet at all. Plan to use the shower rod for that if needed. One trick I read is to put all linens and blankets in the bathtub, then when you make up the beds on arrival, voila, you have your bathtub back.

Oh wow. I just looked at the floor plan. Not only is there no closet, but you don't have the large cabinets across the top front that I had, do you?

You're right about using the tub. Other than that, storage bins... either on the floor or in the tow vehicle. Not much fun to deal with either way.

We use a lot of large plastic totes for various items, especially those that go back and forth from the house to the camper (clothes, dry foods, etc.) Be careful hanging something from the shower rod, there's a good chance it's not screwed into any studs.
We also have a few smaller plastic tubs that we keep in the cabinets for spices and such.

across the top front are some cubbies for small items. I am going to WalMart or Target today to look for bins. I might add a cabinet to the front under the dining table area, or just get a bin to fit there. With just the two of us, I am thinking of making a smaller table anyway, and converting it to a u-shaped seating area...but nothing that can't be reversed.

In addition to camping I like woodworking. I've made some organizational improvements to my camper using woodworking skills. Some of my mods may be applicable to your camper:



Magazine rack keeps maps, magazines, newspapers etc. organized

A general idea is to divide cabinets into separate areas using shelving. Assemble the items you'd like to put in the cabinet and then determine the best spacing for the shelves to maximize capacity and organization. Here are some examples:





These dishes and glassware occupy a space of only 11"h x 13"w x 11"d. Included are 8 plates (sm, lg), 12 bowles (sm, med, lg), 4 mugs, 12 glasses (sm, med, lg), 1 measuring cup, and a small bin for spices. The two tension rods secure contents during travel.

Here is another base cabinet with a full extension drawer. By carefully choosing pots, pans, bowles, etc that nest, a lot of stuff can be stored in a small space.







Here I added three full extension drawers under the bed. A false bottom above the drawers still gives some chest storage directly under the mattress.

I hope these pictures give you some ideas that you can use to improve organization/storage in your camper.

Our first rule of camping is never bring anything that needs to be hung up, we are camping, why would we need anything that hangs.

We always keep the beds made and ready to go. Being a hybrid I know that you cannot but I would just keep stuff on the table ready to go.

Similar to our pop up days, keep clothes in duffle bags that can be stored on the beds during the day and on the floor at night.

Everything else in totes that can placed on the floor during travel and under the bunk ends during your stay.

Travel with paper goods rather than real dishes and keep you food bin in the car or trailer at night.

We also have a very small TT (see my signature). Here are some things that work for us:

*LABELED containers and removable Command Hooks are your friends when trying to organize in a small space!

*We hang up all shirt, pants, etc. in the way back of our SUV on a travel hanging rod. We just make sure to bring the next day's clothes into the camper the night before. Fortunately, we have enough cabinet space to store socks, underwear, shorts, bathing suits, and pjs in Sterlite containers above the bed.

*You can also keep labeled storage totes in your tow vehicle if you don't have storage in your camper.

*I took a see through plastic wall hanger for shoes and hung it on our bathroom wall using removable Command Hooks (it JUST fit, thank goodness!). It holds all of our personal items: deodorant, meds, hair dryer, comb/brush, etc. If wall space is limited, it can be cut carefully to fit a smaller space.

*We hung a shower caddy from a large water proof Command Hook on a wall in the shower to hold shampoo, condioner, soap, and razor. Our shower head is too small to hold the shower caddy safely.

*We purchased a 2-toothbrush holder from Camping World and attached it to a wall in the bathroom with the sticky tape it came with. We also bought a Kleenex holder from Camping World and attached it to a wall in the bathroom with the sticky tape it came with (I'm not a fan of screwing anything into the walls).

*We bought several Sterlite containers to store items that will fit in our cabinets (dishes, cups, food, silverware, etc.). We have under couch storage (built more like a dinette seat with lift up storage in our camper where we store larger things - coffee maker, electic skillet, etc.

We hung large removable Command hooks on a narrow wall just inside the camper's door for our dogs' leashes. We also used these hooks near the stove to hang potholders.

*Our bed is actually a dinette in our camper that we keep as our permanent bed, so we store big items under or on our bed during transit: tv, dogs's x-pen, etc. The cooler goes in the narrow aisle between the couch and fridge during transport.

*We have an outdoor camp kitchen and put our non-food items in it when we get to camp. This helps our small interior from feeling any more cluttered than need be. This includes cooking utensils, electric skillet, coffee maker, pots, pans, etc. We run a heavy duty extension cord right from the power poll to this area, along with a surge protector/outlets to avoid putting too much pressure on our camper's electric system. We rarely cook inside unless it's raining. We set it up under our Easy Up, and/or we cover it with a tarp to protect from rain between uses. The Easy Up also keeps us from using up valuable space under our small camper awning.

*If you use your bath tub for storage (snap on lid or sliding drawer Sterlite containers are an option), make sure you put something in the bottom of it to prevent scratching it. Old beach towels work well. Pack snuggly to avoid sliding and banging of items against the sides of the tub.

I'm sure I forgot some other things I've done, but you get the idea.

Have fun in your camper! You'll figure out the best storage mods for you as you go. After all, necessity is the mother of invention!

A couple of suggestions:

1. look for aftermarket shelf systems or "hammocks" for gear that connect to the end poles of the bunk ends.
2. store extra stuff in totes and keep them in your tow vehicle.
3. recreational toys can be stored in totes and kept under trailer.
4. Using a small bar fridge kept on a small table or picnic table under the trailer awning can really help in having room for food and drinks.
5. They're not cheap, but a good set of nesting cookware can save a lot of room.
6. If you do your cooking outside, design & build or buy an outdoor kitchen box that will hold basic cooking items that stay packed when in storage, and easy to move outside and place on table or leg system.
7. Learn to roll up clothing...teach kids to roll up one day's clothes together so all they have to do is grab one item that would be underwear, shorts/pants and shirt.
8. Keep dirty laundry in plastic bag, stow in vehicle.
9. Look for any wall space where hooks (Command hooks work well) can be mounted, then used for whatever needed.
10. Each camper should have a toilet kit with needed items, and designed to hang up on a hook so they can dry out between uses.
11. Build or buy a drying rack that can be used when camping. If you can't get one mounted to rear bumper, you can make racks by using suction type clamps (Harbor Tool) and pvc pipe.
