OP: I guess your slide is electric. Is it the standard Lippert rack/pinion motor driven or the Schwintek with the rails fastened to the side of the slide box? If Schwintek I have read more than a few posts on this forum about problems with them. If Lippert, might be nothing more than the slide wasn't properly adjusted by the selling dealer (or maybe not even checked?), or as some suggest, maybe a weak battery.
Back to your TV. 1500, 2500, or 3500? Gas or diesel? If a 1500, crew or Mega cab? Payload rating if you know, and yes, how does it tow? I'm curious because I have a 3500 with the oil burner that I really don't need to tow a WhiteHawk, but it is paid for. But, if I can ever persuade the wife to downsize................;)
