Newbie looking for easy to pull trailer 28-30'.

Need it for long term missions work camps all over US. Want to be able to pull it with a 1500 Silverado. And any helpful information would be great. Moderately priced, used, trailer would be needed.
  • My guess is you will end up with a 5000 lb, 25 ft. or so TT or a new truck.

You will also get about 10 mpg.
  • WWe bought the a Starcraft Launch 24RLS comes in at 4800 lb before our stuff. We love it.

We like to say it entertains 8, feeds 6 and sleeps 2

What is the GCWR of your Silverado ?
  • Though we are not selling ours, you might check into some of the lighter-weight Rockwood/Flagstaff twins (Forest River products). We like ours (26-27') - comfortable enough, good size, our truck pulls it wonderfully. GVWR is about 6500 lbs, ideal weight for a 1/2 ton, IMO.
